treasurer's letter 2025

I trust that you and your family have had a great start this year; and we believe God for the fulfillment of every word He has spoken concerning us in 2025 (Lk1:45).

It is with a very grateful heart to God and to you that I write this letter. There was so much that the Lord accomplished in and with The Elyott Generation (E-Gen) in 2024. He spoke His plan, increased our capacity and faith; and provided all that was needed to bring about His plan. You were included in His plan, as He blessed us with you and your financial gifts to E-Gen.

Highlights from 2024:

Encounter Room

We held 6 in-person Encounter Room events at specific venues, located and set-up in such a way that the atmosphere was conducive for refreshing from the Lord. We were able to provide complimentary drinks, snacks, light lunch, gifts and parking, all without cost to attendees. These events were powerful reminders of the Lord’s love and goodness towards us. We basked in His presence, unhurried, in word and worship, each one receiving just what was needed from our Lord. Hosting Encounter Room was made possible by your generous giving.

Holding His Gaze

The Holding His Gaze team facilitated virtual meetings fortnightly in 2024. We consistently had people join in from no less than three countries, sometimes more. These were also times of refreshing in the Lord, where He brought the truth of His word and set us free in more ways than one. We continue to be able to afford hosting these sessions because you have been faithful in giving.

Supporting other Ministries

We partnered with some ministries and ministers by supporting their work financially, as instructed by the Lord. We supported the vision of another ministry, helping with its establishment, by giving financially. Amongst the ministers we were blessed to support, was an evangelist on the field who received from us financially for 9 months. What a huge blessing that was to us all!

Operating Costs

The Elyott Generation grew in certain ways in 2024, and even with that, all operating costs were fully paid for. We had the pleasure of saying Yes to the Lord, and we watched Him bring His plan to pass, each and every time.

So, thank you so much for your faithfulness and generousity in giving. May the Lord continue to bless you and multiply the seed you have sown, and increase the fruit of your righteousness (2 Corin 9:10).

As I reflect on what 2025 holds, my greatest heart’s desire and prayer is for transformation and alignment. I am asking the Lord to continuously transform me into His image, to be more and more like Him, which is who I really am. As this happens, I will continue to be in alignment with God, which means being in agreement with all He has for me and in the center of His plan and purpose. 

Here are some areas of prayer focus, and I invite you to join in praying the same for yourself:

• Purity and posture of heart - Everything about our walk with the Lord starts from the posture of our heart. Ask the Lord to help us maintain purity of heart and may He bring healing to the areas of our heart that need it. Ps 24:3-4, Ps 15:1-2, Matt 5:8, Ps 25:5.
• Transformed thinking- What and how we think, form the basis of what we believe about God and ourselves. Ask the Lord for His truth to transform our minds, so we can continue to evolve into who we are in Him. Rom 12:2-3, John 17:16-19.
